For example, all of the articles in this category are considered brief, and could use expansion:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Category:African_American_stubs\">African-American stubs<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have also identified some articles needing expansion, along with UK Libraries resources to get you started:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1wArRldIh17o56a8012dqPMfpu0-hyz13bGKYnpu8oR8\/edit?usp=sharing\">Expand these articles!<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I know something you don&#8217;t know&#8230;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the easiest ways to expand an article is to read a reliable source (a book, journal, news article, etc) about that topic, and look for interesting facts that are not already covered in the Wikipedia article. If you know something about the topic, and can back it up with a citation, it can be part of the article!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you add your fact, make sure you add a citation to back it up, using the <strong>Cite<\/strong> button at the top of the editor! Wikipedia provides a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wikipedia:Basic_copyediting\">how-to guide<\/a> for new copy editors which lays out the guidelines for making articles clear, correct, concise, comprehensible, and consistent!
